Parasite Prevention

Parasites aren't just annoying. They can affect your pet’s quality of life. Parasites include: fleas, ticks, worms, mites, and lice. Some parasites, like ticks, can pass along life-threatening diseases. Others—like heartworms, can shorten their life significantly.  So parasite prevention for your pet is more than just a minor pet care detail. 

Fortunately, these days, we have a number of treatment options that can both treat and prevent parasites. Dr. Miller and our staff will talk to you about this during visits and may recommend regular testing as a part of the preventative routine.
